We invite you to dedicate a focused season of your life this fall to be trained in the context of one of our International House of Prayer University internships. If you desire to encounter Jesus more fully, immerse yourself in a culture of prayer, and walk in a greater measure of the power of the Holy Spirit, we have an internship for you. Whether you are a young adult, a senior, single, or married with children, come and be encouraged and envisioned.

Our internships exist to see this generation filled with the Word of God, ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit, fiery in intercession, committed to living Sermon on the Mount lifestyles, and dedicated to outreach and service to the poor.

All of our internships have the same basic goals and cover the same curriculum. The differences are in the age groups of the interns, the length of the programs, and whether the internship follows a day or night schedule.

Dates for our Track I internships and One Thing Internship are as follows:

Intro to IHOP–KCFire in the NightSimeon Company
One Thing Internship

October 1–December 19, 2010
September 29–December 20, 2010
October 1–December 19, 2010
January 13–June 12, 2011

Intro to IHOP–KC

Intro to IHOP–KC consists of two three-month tracks and is primarily for those desiring to join IHOP–KC staff and all who believe they are called to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. This program offers classes about IHOP–KC’s values, ministries, and structure, and teaches the practical skills necessary to succeed long-term as an intercessory missionary.

 

One Thing Internship

One Thing Internship is a six-month residential program for single young adults, ages 18–25. One of the purposes of this internship is to call a generation into wholehearted pursuit of God, seeking the Lord with consecrated lives of prayer and fasting, and being equipped to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.

 

Fire in the Night

Fire in the Night is part of the IHOP–KC NightWatch, and is a residential program that operates on a night schedule and consists of two three-month tracks for young adults, ages 18–30. The NightWatch staff and interns stand as lights in the darkness, crying out for justice and revival to break out across the cities and nations of the earth.

 

Simeon Company

Simeon Company consists of two three-month tracks and is for those ages 50 and over, whether married or single. Along with embracing all the other aspects of the internships, Simeon interns take their place as fathers and mothers in a community of believers fervently committed to seeking God and praying for His purposes in preparation for the coming of the Lord (Mal. 4:5–6).
