I do 3 hours a week of weight lifting class, working every muscle, and an hour of ab workouts using medicine balls. I also do 3 hours a week of gymnastics at college with consist of doing about of tumbling, and back hand springs. Will this alone help me lose weight and tone up, or do i also need to include cardio?

I'm not going on any diet, im not over weight. I am not the type of person that has to diet to lose weight. I can eat mcdonalds all day and exercise once a week and lose weight.

5 years ago I went on a trip overseas and got sick. Since then I've had diarrhea on a fairly regular basis for a long time. I had tests done when I came back but everything came out normal. My doctor said I might have IBS because they can't figure out what else it could be and she said IBS is common for women in their mid to late 20s. Last year when I was 29 I went back overseas again and got sick but the medicine made me a lot better and ever since then my stomach has been better. But I still have a sensitive stomach. I do get diarrhea once in a while but not as severely as before. I try to eat less dairy since my doctor suggested that, less meat (especially steak or burgers), drink less coffee, etc. and I try not to overeat at buffets or restaurants. But I still seem to get diarrhea more than the average person and once in a great while I get shivers too (maybe once every year or 2 years). I don't know how to make my stomach hold food together better. I don't want to
be constipated but I just don't want to worry about whether every meal I eat is going to agree with me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please let me know. Thanks.

I found out I've been infected with gonorrhea. I've been on three different types of medicine for it but it still will not go away. Now my throat hurts, my glands are swollen. I feel weak in the mornings. I have a headache that will not go away. A persistant cough but no mucus. I'm hungry, but I've lost my interest to eat. My chest will hurt sometimes and my heart hurts for no apparant reason. It becomes hard to breathe and I end up hunched over gasping for air. I have no insurance and no idea what to do.

hi, I recently took my guinea pig to the vet this past week to be seen due to his lack of appetite, energy and abnormal stool.The vet diagnosed him with a bacterial imbalance and prescribe Ditrim liquid to fix the problem,however when I went home to research this medicine I could not find to much about it..I am confident that the vet docor has prescribe the correct medincine for this illness but I know every medicine has a side effect,I have already called the vet clinic were he was seen but his vet doctor is not availabe until sunday.If anyone could help me with any information concerning this question I would be so thankful.

I overdosed on ADD medicine five hours ago.
When I told my mom, she said she'd only take me if it gets worse.
I've gotten numbness in limbs, dizziness, brief blurred vision, difficulty in sitting still, and a slight tightness in my chest (a bit painful).
Now I realized my resting heart rate has been about 120 bpm.... Is now a good time to tell her?
Also, I've been shaking a bit every now and then. It's not cold.

I have had a lot of pregnancies, actually think I have had everything occur. First three ended within 6 weeks as a teenager, and I was told I probably would never have a child. At 20 I had my first son and the entire pregnancy seemed unreal since I kept thinking it was a matter of time before it ended in disaster. He was born perfect with no complications, no medicines, no hormone treatments, etc. Pregnancies five and six ended before 8 weeks with no reason. Tests came back fine for hormones, etc. Pregnancy seven was my second son, though I took progesterone because the test in the first trimester said my levels were too low and yet no one knows if that's the reason he is here today. Pregnancy eight ended at 12 weeks with question of blighted ovum, molar pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, and still there was no final determination on what happened and why and I took progesterone the entire time. Pregnancy nine ended within 5 weeks for with no explanation, and I began to avoid the doctor
since I tested for genetic disorders and anything else they could think of and nothing came back wrong. Now here is my tenth pregnancy. Yes, I was pregnant 10 times and three of those were within a six month period. I consider myself lucky for being able to get pregnany, and not so lucky for not being able to maintain them (doesn't matter if I wait a year or a month). I thought I was miscarrying at five weeks when I started bleeding. A week later, I feel more sick, tired, bloated, and hormonal. I know the pregnancy symptoms for me and when I start grouching over not getting a dinner idea from my guy while I am reorganizing the furniture, I know I am pregnant. I don't know if I should take another test, considering I am a queen in POAS results, I don't know if it would be a lost cause at this point or if I should just wait it out. I also don't know if I could have miscarried a twin, that's one that I haven't been through before and statistics say I have a 1 in 8 chance of that
happening. Considering my history I think meeting that mark wouldn't be impossible. I just don't know what to do but for once I'd like to see my doctor without getting some bad news that I'll end up having to drag out in a series of blood tests for the next few weeks. Does anyone have something similar that there is always something wrong and genetic counselors and doctors and such can't figure out what it is? and then what would you do in a situation where you know something more is going on but you don't want to deal with any of those "experts" this time around?

I've always wondered what the long term effects of things like medicine will have on natural selection in humans. There really isn't much going on in terms of 'survival of the fittest' anymore. There are things like medicine for our illnesses. Food is readily available, etc.

I understand that there are less fortunate people on this planet who may not have access to food or medicine, but I'm talking about in the long run.

I accidentally overdosed on ADD medicine, my mom won't bring me to the hospital, and it's been about five hours. The entire time, my heart has been beating much faster than normal, as well as these symptoms:

1. brief blurred vision
2. dizziness
3. hard to concentrate
4. brief numbness in arms and legs

And now I have a slight pain in my chest (tight kind of pain). My mom said she would only take me if my condition got much worse.

Am I going to have a heart attack? Should I tell my mom?

Long story short I got involved with a guy on vacation who lives across the country. We continued to talk and even though we weren't officially "together" we were pretty much together. He's a year younger then me but communicates pretty well...or so I thought. I told him from the start that I have emotional problems (cutting, depression, suicidal thoughts). I had not cut for six months when I met him but I had been on an anti-depressant for a month. He said he could handle it and would help me. When I got home from the vacation I went into a tailspin ending with me being put into a mental hospital for adolescents because of extreme suicidal thoughts. He helped me through all of it except the hospital part. My psychiatrist believes that the new medicine I was on is what caused the mania/cutting to start again. It wasn't anyone's fault. I was in the hospital for a week and didn't talk to this guy the whole time but my friend had told him what happened. When I got out he ignored me
until he finally told me he wanted to take a "break" because he didn't feel the same about us after I was hospitalized. He said he was confused. Before I went to the hospital he was talking about him not being good for my life...so I'm not sure if he thinks it was his fault I was in the hospital or what he's thinking. I am going to give him a week (since we hadn't talked in two weeks before the break anyway). What should I say when I contact him again? I don't want to push him away because I really care about him and I understand that he is confused. Can I just ask him if he is ready to talk? Is this really a "break" or is it the end?

I am getting help. I have been in therapy for seven months and am now on new medication. I haven't cut in three weeks and I feel pretty happy.

I am completely alone in life. My family hates me and i have no friends.

I have tried my whole life to be friendly and kind and good to people, but I have always been rejected. After 18 years of living, I don't have a single friend.

I haven't been contacted by another person to do something in a year.

I haven't had physical contact with another person (like a hug, not sex) in year as well.

I have never had a girl friend, never held hands with someone, never kissed anyone or had sex.

No one has ever said I love you to me.

I feel so depressed and broken that I can't function anymore in life.

I need someone to love me and care about and support me to help me get out of this depression, but I have no one.

I need to be out of my depression and anxiety to be able to form a strong supportive relationship, but I need a strong, supportive relationship to help me out of this.

I don't know what to do. My life seems completely worthless because I have no one to live for. I don't add value to anyone's life.

I have tried therapy and medicines and volunteering and joining activities and groups, but nothing matters anymore. Everything I do is completely hollow. No accomplishment or activity can distract me anymore. Nothing can fill the void love has left in me.

Ok so I am very paranoid and worried about this. Let me start by saying I'm about 32 weeks pregnant with a little girl. My due date is Nov. 1st. For about the last 3 months of my pregnancy I have had heavy discharge which I have heard is normal and my doctor also said is normal especially towards the end of pregnancy. I went to the doctor this past tuesday and when he did an internal exam with his hand he said the baby's head is really low so I'm assuming this means she is in the head down position...? He said that is why I have been having a lot of pressure down low. But he said everything looked fine and he didn't say anything in regards to having her early or anything like that. But he did ask me if I was having any contractions and I wasn't sure if he meant real ones or Braxton Hicks so I said no. I have had a couple Braxton Hicks but not a lot and definitely not everyday or anything. The only thing he found wrong was that I had a little bit of a yeast infection because he
checked my discharge since I complained of having so much. He said it is normal to have heavier discharge towards the end of pregnancy though. He gave me a cream prescription for my infection and with medicines like that I know they can cause more discharge I guess because they are getting rid of the infection. So basically even before this when I was just having regular discharge, my underwear would get wet sometimes even through the panty liners I would wear so I know this was normal, but now I am taking this medicine and the other day when I went to use the bathroom my underwear were a little wet but it smelled kind of like urin so I'm guessing that could have just happened because I know that is normal too. But today when I went to the bathroom my discharge was clear (I guess because the infection is going away) and my underwear were pretty wet again but this time it didn't smell like anything. I know it's too early for my water to have broken probably and my mom said she
doesn't think it's anything to worry about, she thinks its just the discharge, but I'm a little worried. I tried to call my doctor just to ask but they were already closed and now its the weekend. My next appointment isn't until Sep. 14. The baby has been moving a lot like normal and I haven't had and contractions (Braxton Hicks) or pains. Just the normal pressure and having to pee alot. I had a seizure. Nothing new for me. They have been more frequent because I am all out of this medicine that helps on 1/4 of them.
So the day I made it to the ER. Well first 30 mins after I have a tonic clonic aka grand mal I'm lucky to be 75% all with it.- Seizures suck and your being treated to the best of your paying ability, not waking up in time to refuse the ambulance ride or being guided into the ER after a good old unwarm"n"ed muscle pulling workout- knowing that they did not, can Not do anything for it & all your going to get is a huge bill-- Sucks even more..
Well anyway somehow my family got me into the ER after this not so all unique seizure.
ER: 1 Hour = $1,200.00
They checked my sugar twice.
I drank to cups of apple juice.
"I don't even have sugar problems" ha ha must of then
They Put a plastic draw thing in my arm to get blood out once. Was not giving any saline or any other meds.
Stuck me with 6 of those chest hair pulling sticky things. I did not even take off my shirt.
I said HI to the DOC!

did they forget he increased medicare by 1.2 trillion dollars? do the see the correlation between how every president since eisenhower has increased federal spending in health care and how that distorted supply and demand causing higher prices and poorer service for everyone? do they forget that before medicare the average elderly family paid less than 2000 dollars a year (in 1999 dollars) for medical services yet in 1999 they spend over 4000? you can say that is due to increased technology used in medicine but that doesnt add up. in every other sector technology gets cheaper over time. everything with medicine gets more expensive and the prices rise far faster than inflation.
obamabot- actually the computer industry got much cheaper. cell phone service to much cheaper. and you can get deliveries of almost any product from local grocery stores in my area.

I've been trying the Arrbonne Clear Advantage system for about three weeks and I'm not sure if I like it. I'm breaking out in places I've never had problems with before and I'm breaking out every day. My aunt (who uses this product too and has gorgeous skin) tells me that it's just breaking out because the medicine is clearing all of my acne out of my pores. Any truth to this?

Also, I'm really interested in the make-up line. Any advice on that?

So, I am pregnant. It's been confirmed. I am in the second trimester and during the first one I hardly had any symptoms that were majorly bad. Well now this trimester I have been getting sore nipples really bad, and I was just wondering if there was anything I could use or do to make them hurt less. My doctor also told me I am lactating a little bit already, not like squirting or dripping or anything, but it's drying on them so I don't know if that's what's making them hurt so bad or what's going on. But that's already going on and I am only 22 weeks, so I was just wondering if there were any helpful hints that you ladies out there did. I will probably ignore all of the "medicine" or "ointment" things. I have been trying to only take my prenatal vitamins while I am pregnant and nothing else just to be safe. I don't want to have a reaction to anything and then be in trouble. Any other advice is greatly appreciated though. Thanks in advance :)

I need some better relief! I wake up with heartburn, I get it after EVERYTHING that I eat, and I just can't stand it anymore. I have taken Zantac 150 but that only lasts a few hours. How? I don't know, I thought it would be the answer to my prayers but apparently it isn't. It doesn't matter what I eat, I can get heartburn from anything. So "cutting down on spicy/acidy" foods won't help. I don't even eat much of that anyway. Tums...temporary relief. Pickle juice? Yeah right. Like a split second relief. Glass of milk? Tried that too.

Is there any other medicine I can take that would help me for good? I want to enjoy just one day without it....just one day. If you know of any OTC meds for heartburn (besides Zantac) I can take, please share! Or if there is any fast acting/long lasting home remedy I can also use.

And what exactly causes the heartburn? I wanna know that, too. Because I never had it until I hit my 10th week of pregnancy. Ever since then, I've had it everyday. No joke! Are any of you experiencing this too or experience this in past pregnancies? UGH!

So about 7 days ago, i had a asthma attack, it wasn't one were i feel tightness on my chest. It wasn't my first one. I just had a hard time breathing. so I went to the emergency room at around 12 midnight. they just gave me a inhaler. So i took the medicine as I was told. then on Tuesday I when to the doctor to check on me. They ask me questions and told me more how to take the inhaler. On Wednesday I felt pain on my jaw and neck after I woke up. on Thursday i felt bloating around my belly and pain (like if i was full of air) on my stomach as well a bit of shortness of breath but it wasn't bad. now I feel a bit shortness of breath but I can control it, i feel a little pain around my clavical and I have a feeling something is wrong. Is this normal to feel this after a minor asthma attack? or should I see a doctor.

I took three times my regular dose of ADD medicine on purpose (please don't ask), but I can't tell my mom that.
I called poison control and they said that I should see a doctor....
My symptoms of having a heart attack are dying down, but I'm still worried.

I told my mom, all except the on purpose part. She doesn't want to drive me because of traffic.
Since she gave me such a horrible excuse and the one person I told I overdosed doesn't seem to care so much (and she's the closest friend I have), I almost feel like I should just take my chances at dying.
I don't want to call an ambulance because I'm afraid my mom will be mad.

What do i do?
She knows that I've been suicidal for years.

Are there colleges where you have to be a certain academic standard to get accepted?

When you go to college, do you do an actual course like medicine or law (like a degree), or do you just study subjects like maths and stuff?

Also, does everyone go for four years (freshman, sophomore etc)? Is that what they are called?

I already have adies tonic pupil which is a rare disorder that makes one of my pupils dilate. Normally it's not a huge difference but when taking ephedrine, it is much more noticeable. After researching online, I see that pupil dilation is a common side effect of taking ephedrine but I don't see anything saying whether or not this will subside without discontinuing the use of the medicine. Any input is appreciated.

Have you ever thought about it? I mean, when the earth began (no matter how you believe it was formed), and humans first came into exsistance, we had NOTHING but nature. And so out of nature (over all these centuries of course) we've managed to create all that we see now-a-days. From computers, to tall sky scrapers, to medicine, and machines that diagnose those sicknesses...I mean everything we see has been originally created from things we find in nature as that is the only resource we had in the beginning of time....that just mind boggles me. OK, well Last night i asked this and got GREAT answers, but, I need to ask again and add stuff. Well last night i asked about arthritis and riding. I am only 14 and have extreme arthritis. But someone said that i might have fibromialgia. I have all the symptoms (Severe pain in joints, fatigue, muscle pain, non cardiac chest pain, dizziness, and tingling and numbness in hands and feet).

So i think this is what I have, so today i asked my mom " Do you think i have fibromialgia? I have all the symptoms and can you take me to the doctor?"
My mom is into natural remedies and chiropractic and all that and i go to the chiropractor 2x a week but im still in so much pain
and shes like " fibromialgia is NOT a real disease. You do not have it and its just you emotions that are making you have all this pain"

So i am in EXTREME pain all the time (especially when riding) but she wont let me take ANY medicine (no mortin, tylenol or advil or anything else) and I am in so much pain right now. And i know this doesnt really go in the horse section, but i never ask questions outside of here and it has something to do with riding.

I broke up with my girlfriend about 4 months ago. Actually she dumped me. But I think I still love her and will love her till death. I don’t know how to get over her. She was my first real love. We were together for like 3 months but in different period but I had love for her since late 2005. Then she broke up with me saying that she never loved me and don’t even know me. She just took nothing as well as nothing leave for me. That kind’s deadly sound just destroyed me to hearing her say on cell phone. But I learned that she was going out with another boy while she was engaged before. I didn’t feel the same way about life after that. I trusted her so much. I was a BBA student in my University, but after her leave I lost interest in my studies. I did worst result most of my tests to compare with my standard. I pretty much lost interest in everything I took everything like cocaine alcohol also some bad local drinks actually I committed several suicide attempt after her leave.
My parents decided to get me help but I was never ready to go with them but they finally took me to a psychologist 4 months ago. The doctor has suggested me that I have to be stronger so that I will have to never try to remember her for single seconds. But it seemed to be nothing without professionalism. Without taking her medicine it’s very hard to sleep at night and whole day I feel I have no right live in word I feel like I destroyed my whole life by loving her.

She did whatever she needed to do on me. But what was my fault was my love not enough? If yes than how? I want to know the answer but I feel only one can ask me but she will never come for me, another one was also capable but since that, I have no faith on god. But I still have feelings for her. This might sound fucking crazy, but I can’t change the way I feel about her. I want to forget her & get on with my life with fresh beginning. But every time I go in front of her house I hope to catch a glance of her. In every time I go out for walk I hope I could see her face once more if somehow I could hold her once more for last thing I never want I could cry for her once more. But I know this is can’t be happened but I want to see her & talk to her. I want to ask her friends how she’s doing. But never dare to do it.

I haven’t been romantically interested in a girl after her. Maybe that’s because I think no girl will ever love me. I just want to stop loving her. Please somebody without you cruel god tell me what to do!! I want to forget her. I don’t want to feel this miserable. Due to a huge mix-up (I have two bottles of pills that have different dose ammounts but are the same size) I took three times the amount I'm supposed to take! My chinese-medicine-specializing doctor gave me "Sedalyn extract" one time when I suffered a traumatizing experience. He said it would help with the nervousness and bitter taste in my mouth. I have some left over, and according to him there are no side effects, but I have a big presentation coming up and would like to know if it would be ideal to take this 'herbal medicine' before to calm the nerves? I've been having a sore throat and i'm getting my eyebrow pierced here in a hour so i took some Tylenol (liquid) to relieve the pain of my throat and i heard it helps your eyebrow not hurt as bad after. My friend started losing her hair in November 2008. This wasn't bald patches, but general hairloss all over. She had been Lansoprazole 30mg tablets for about 2 years with no problems. She stopped using them for 11 months, in case the problem with her hair resulted from the tablets, but her hair continued to fall out throughout these months.

In October 2009, she began to use the tablets again. 3 weeks later, her hair ceased falling out for 6 months, but now, has again started to fall out again in the last 3 months (May 2010). Could the tablets have anything to do with this, as it is a rare side effect of them?

Also, she saw a doctor in February 2009. She was told that she suffers from chronic telogen effluvium related to nutritional problems and low iron. After taking iron supplements, her iron levels have become better. Her ferritin is now 50 mg, a rise from 21. Could the hair loss still be related to iron deficiency, despite being higher?

An answer to both of these questions would be useful. By the way, she is 49.

Can anyone tell me if any over-the-counter medicines available in the UK contain only codeine, without it being mixed with another painkiller?

My boyfriend suffers from occasional severe tension headaches - maybe 2 or 3 times a year - and the only thing which seems to work is a low dose of codeine. He's aware of the addiction risks and only takes it for a short period at a time. However all the codeine painkillers on the market seem to mix it with either aspirin, paracetamol or ibuprofen, and he can't take any of these as they cause him stomach problems due to an old ulcer. (Yes, even paracetamol - I know it's supposed not to irritate the stomach but it does in his case!)
So he has to go to his GP every time, and apart from the extra expense on the prescription charge, he feels like he's wasting their time! Can anyone help?

I am having really bad allergies. It started when I went outside last night....all the pollen in the air.

My nose has been stuffed up and running since last night. My mom gave me some medicine and it's a lot better than before.

My throat though, is REALLY dry. My voice doesn't sound scratchy, but it hurts a little bit to talk. I haven't been talking much today because of it. I tried drinking Gatorade and Water, but it is still really dry.

The humidifier and hot shower didn't do much...Can you help me with this?

I would change the inequality of national wealth in some countries. I would change the fact that many people are living in poverty in some third world countries. And hopefully it leads to less racism and less sick people dying because of medicines that are too expensive for them to buy.

We had a cheerleading camp for little girls and we taught them cheers and dances.
Well when our cheerleading sponsor introduced us we each had to do a jump.
We didn't have much time to stretch, so when i did my jump i felt a sharp pain in my hamstring.
Our camp was in July and to this day it hurts to stretch it any little bit or use it.
And now the pain has traveled down my left leg to behind my knee. I thought nothing was wrong so i continued to do jumps and kicks well every time i do it hurts really really bad and I feel it popping on my upper thigh (hamstring). Could this just be a pulled muscle or should I see our schools sports medicine doc?

Okay for starters I am 15 and I am very curious, like ill watch porn and stuff just because it is like research to me. But I never have any sexual "fun" or anything. I never masturbate. I just feel bad when after watching a porn video. Not guilty, but dissapointed that nothing can turn me on. im taking tetracyline for acne right now and my doctor perscribed me 500 mg. for twice a day.
the pharmacy was out of the 500 mg, so they gave me 250 mg and said just to take 2 in morning and 2 at night.
BUT. i heard this medicine can give you yeast infections if you take alot.
so i've just been taking one at night and none in the morning because i cant find a time in the morning to take it without food.
so im taking one 250 mg a day.
will this even make a difference in my face??
my mom thinks its a good idea to take this little of an amount because then i probably wont get a yeast infection, and i wont get used to the pill as fast.
so is that enough???? i have moderate acne, mostly on my forehead and chin.

Im 17 and for the past 10 months ive suffered from anxiety for no reason. Relaxing didnt seem to help it nor did facing the anxiety. I dont have anything boyhering my head but i always get anxious feelings for no reason. I realize the anxiety is pointless but that wont stop it. I've been off and on Darvocet and Lortab for about 6 months. First for oral surgery, then for a bulging disc. I usually take one Darvocet in the morning and 1 or 2 at night. Never have I ever exceeded more than 2500 in a day. Some days not even 1500. Lately during the last few weeks I've noticed the tips of fingernails are yellow. Not my entire nail, only the tips. Now I do wear dark fingernail polish pretty much every couple of weeks. But I've done that for a long time. Could taking medicine that contains apap for just six months have caused liver damage? I know anything is possible, but it just seems like such a short time. And could it turn the tips of my nails yellow? Any help, advice, opinions are appreciated. Thank you.

Long story short I got involved with a guy on vacation who lives across the country. We continued to talk and even though we weren't officially "together" we were pretty much together. He's a year younger then me but communicates pretty well...or so I thought. I told him from the start that I have emotional problems (cutting, depression, suicidal thoughts). I had not cut for six months when I met him but I had been on an anti-depressant for a month. He said he could handle it and would help me. When I got home from the vacation I went into a tailspin ending with me being put into a mental hospital for adolescents because of extreme suicidal thoughts. He helped me through all of it except the hospital part. My psychiatrist believes that the new medicine I was on is what caused the mania/cutting to start again. It wasn't anyone's fault. I was in the hospital for a week and didn't talk to this guy the whole time but my friend had told him what happened. When I got out he ignored me
until he finally told me he wanted to take a "break" because he didn't feel the same about us after I was hospitalized. He said he was confused. Before I went to the hospital he was talking about him not being good for my life...so I'm not sure if he thinks it was his fault I was in the hospital or what he's thinking. I am going to give him a week (since we hadn't talked in two weeks before the break anyway). What should I say when I contact him again? I don't want to push him away because I really care about him and I understand that he is confused. Can I just ask him if he is ready to talk? Is this really a "break" or is it the end?

I know after a while your body can get immune or whatever to it so how long until it stops working? Ive gone through phases where Id get depressed a lot again and I can affect the depression by increasing the dose for a while then going back down again. But im wondering if i will ever become fully immune to lexapro and have to change medications to stop my depression?

so i am planning on getting sports medicine boots for my TB in the near future, but i'm not sure which ones to get. i was thinking about open front jumping boots, but im not planning on showing big and really not jumping big for a while, so i figured they'd be a little high priced for what i'd be doing. (right now i'm jumping 2'3- 2'6 and am planning on going higher later, just schooling and such, and am also planning on trying cross country)

sooo i have been looking at boots, and have found both the ventech elite boots and smb (II and 3's, plus elites). the smb's appear to be a little bulkier, and i have a slight-built TB..

from experience, which ones are better, based on what i'd be doing, and my horse?

my poor kitty cat gets hot spots whenever she has fleas.. I don't like to give my kitty medicine other then natural herbal treatments because she has very sensitive skin and allergic reactions to most medications. What can I use to help rid her of her itchiness?
I have been using aloe cream, but its not working very effectively
I gave my cat advantage for the fleas a while back, and the fleas appear to be all gone, but she keeps scratching at the bites like crazy and they have made hot spots

Dr. Moore is not the only scientist to have discussed the Qur'anic verses we will look at in this article. But the fact that he is not a Muslim puts what he has to say in a different light. No one can accuse him of inventing things to defend Islam. His findings will have to be taken seriously by any seeker of truth. Referring to above verse in the Quran, Dr. Moore says: "This verse from the Koran states that God makes you in the wombs of your mothers in stages, one after another, within three veils of darkness." Then he explains his amazement: "The realization that the embryo develops in stages in the uterus was not discussed or illustrated until the 15th century A.D.

"The staging of human embryos was not proposed until the 1940's, and the stages used nowadays were not adopted worldwide until a few years ago."

It is reasonable to interpret the three veils of darkness mentioned in the Koran as:

the mother's abdominal wall; the wall of the uterus; and the amniochorionic membrane composed of the fused amnion and chorion.These three anatomical layers protect the embryo from external injury."

so my cat started pooping outside the litter box then when my dad started noticing that my cat didn't have any wetness in her litter a little while later we noticed that she was peeing on the landing strip on the stairs and her litter box was only about five stairs away so my dad did some research and figured out that she had an uti. two days after she was peeing on the landing strip we brought her to the vet. when we got there they tried to make her pee but she wouldn't so she had to stay the night. yesterday we were able to take her home but she was diagnosed with a uti. they gave us medicine that we had to give her so as soon as we got home we gave it to her with a syringe. also she was limping a lot and after i put her on my bed and she was like falling over because how much she was limping so i would carry her to go downstairs and to take herr off my bed. today she doesn't limp but she seems really sad still and she doesn't really purr anymore. my cat sandy would purr like
all day everyday and walk up to you but now she just lays there and she is very quiet. my dad also said that she still hasn't gone to the bathroom yet since she got home and she got home yesterday. how long do you think it'll take for my sandy to feel better and the vet also said when shes done with the medicine we have to take her back in so do you think she'll be healed by the time she goes back to the vet. did this every happen to you. please help i'm so worried and sad i want my sandy to feel better i hate seeing her like this.

I remember that, as a kid (6yrs to about 10yrs), my friends always used to tell me that, after saying something, I always repeat the last word of the sentence to myself. I remember that I was never aware of actually doing it. Well, eventually I stopped doing it (I know that I stopped doing it because no one tells me I am doing it anymore, otherwise I wouldn't know). I don't have any mental, psychological, or any other problems and I don't take any medicines and/or pills. In fact, I am a good student (I am currently in 10th grade). It started when I had a major fever on September. 1st. After I took some medicine a few times, it was gone and it's now back. ( Help please on this problem ) Now, ( for the main problem ) on September. 2nd. I notice my gum has grown bigger and it is now stuck between my upper and lower part of my teeth. I don't like it =/ because I used to use my tongue and touch my upper and lower teeth. It feels good because it was smooth. I wonder why is it that Gaza gets TOO MUCH of world media attention, why the suffering Palestinians get TOO MUCH charity from the world over? Why Gaza and not other poor Islamic nations suffering more than over-fed, pampered Palestinians? Think of Nigeria and its people; of Somalia and its people; of Pakistan and its flood-hit victims; etc.

Now how come that Pakistan didn't get the same amount of attention that Gaza got from other countries, when it got earthquakes a few years back, or when it got floodings? Did the wealthiest of Islamic countries ever help Pakistani victims of natural disasters? How much Zakat have they given so far? Very little, unfortunately. Pakistanis are treated very differently from Palestinians. The only differences are the colours of their skin.

Now, let's look at Gaza again. Palestinians are paler skinned than Pakistanis; therefore, they receive preferential charities from image-conscious Arabs who love Palestinians more than their dark-skinned emigrant workers.
If Gaza were ever struck with earthquakes, floods, famine caused by locusts, etc, how much charity would its people receive from the world over? No doubt, Palestinians would most receive worldwide attention, many months of coverage on TV & newspapers, vast sums of alms money, donations of foods, clothes, medicines, cars, lorries, building construction materials, etc. They also get money for house-re-building projects for all displaced citizens. Free education for all children. Must I continue...

Now what differential paltry charity did Pakistan ever receive from the other countries, including the wealthiest Islamic countries. Not the same as the spoilt Palestinians.

Look at how much money the west gave to Pakistan. Google that. Compare to what other Islamic countries gave. Shamefully, Arab countries gave a lot less than what they'd always give to the Palestinians.

OK recently I made a new friend on myspace. I thought she was very, very cute but that was it and i didn't think of her obsessively or anything after that. Last night however, I had dreamt of spending my whole life with her. Starting from when we were kids all the way to when we got old (im 15 btw). It started off me seeing her at a mall near one of the stores she was working in, i started talking to her an i dont remeber what i did but it went to a cpl years or months later i think and i saw her at my house and she hugged me and i kissed her then it blacked out and went to our wedding. I was soo happy and she was to, but while we were walking down the eisle like i guess heading to the party all of a sudden we turned old. No offense but she was pretty big but, i still loved her. She was apparently dying so i had went to the store to get her some medicine while my nephew was watching her (he looked like he was 20 or 30) as i was in the car driving home after gettin the medicine i was
remembering all the things we did together being young. God she was so beautiful and i started to cry and i remember saying "I dont want my baby to die" and just kept crying. Suppose due to global warming and just the right the circumstances, perfect storm.....

1) Water evaporates from a wide stream of the South Saskatchewan River near Medicine Hat, Alberta...

2) Due to a pocket of hot sticky U.S. air from a warm frontal boundary, record heat and rare humidity overtake the Sask River with water temperatures close to 30 celsius and very humid.

3) There forms low pressure with an epicenter that amazingly follows the exact path of the Saskatchewan River and when it approaches Saskatoon, it turns into a hurricane with 120 kilometre per hour winds

4) Suddenly the polar jet stream gets very weak and strangely the storm makes a left turn due to the gravity of the River Saskatchewan....it goes into the North Sask River and becomes a Category 5 catastrophic hurricane right into Edmonton...

Would Edmonton Albertans ride out this storm in the "Funky Pickle", would they drive Molson in the Edmonton mall?

Or would they put maple syrup on their doors so they can't fly open?

Couldn't there be a very Canadian way of preparing for this hurricane?
Or would Edmonton people all move to Calgary?
Also if a Grizzily Bear were chasing you in one direction, and the hurricane in the other, which would you put your trust in first?

I am looking for people who have had a UN-TREATED underactive thyroid, and who have taken doctor prescribed Phentermine.. my question is, have you lost weight while taking them? I started Phentermine one week ago, and I was just advised by my doctor that I have a underactive thyroid and I will need to start medicine to treat it, but I can't get a doctors appointment for another 2 weeks to get this prescription. Am I wasting the Phentermine pills I have by taking them now, while my underactive thyroid hasn't been treated? Should I just hold off on them until I get my thyroid under control? I want to open up my own natural healing center one day, and am looking to get certification in various aspects of healing. The Global College of Medicine offers classes to gain a master herbology certificate. Is this legitimate?

Their website, http://www.gcnm.com/ has an "accredidation" page. It said
the institution has received approval to operate from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Also, it says GCNM and/or faculty members are professional members

I've had this for years now. Maybe 5, 6, 7... It's been too long. I've Googled this a couple of years ago and all I could find was: "Brush your tongue aswell as your teeth and it should disappear in time." I've been following this ever since: I brush my tongue for as long as it takes to be perfectly "normal", which can sometimes take up to a minute or two. I do this in the morning, at night it becomes white again and vice versa. But I think it becomes whiter during daytime than it does overnight.

I have also noticed big spots at the back of my tongue. I want you to trust me on this, they aren't taste buds as I've read a lot of times when I tried Googling it. I am so sure because of two facts: They are for one much much bigger (about, maybe 1.5 ~ 2 mm in diameter, didn't measure of course, I can't shove a ruler down my throat) and two, when my tongue becomes white there are like sorts of "rings" around my spots which don't go white and stay red, like the spots themselves.

I can't feel the spots or anything but I actually remember having a sore throat one day when I was about 7, and after several days when it didn't heal even though my father gave me medicine, he took me to a doctor and this doctor mentioned something about spots at the back of my mouth but I was going to be OK. I am just saying, if it's actually the spots I am talking about, then who knows for how long I might have had these. I am going to be fifteen this year by the way.

There is a girl at my school who I really like and it's keeping me from asking her out. I mean it already grosses me out so I wouldn't expect her to like it either, but most importantly, what if it's contagious...?

If someone could please tell me what this is and how I can solve my issue, I will in real honesty be eternally grateful.

High school GPA = 3.4 (I went to a magnet high school so that caused it)

College GPA = 4.0 (after my 1st year), currently I am a second year student

SAT score = 2170 (would retake if necessary)

Type of college = ranked as "tier 4" by US news and report but has a good reputation in the state but it is a commute university, cost my family and I little to no money at all and I basically have a full ride, plan was to spend two years here and then transfer elsewhere and that isn't changing.

Extra curricular activities =

- 120 volunteer hours for the red cross
- 60 volunteer hours for the Family Y
- Internship at the local sports medicine clinic
- Winner in a school wide essay contest
- Intramural soccer if that means anything at all
- member of the Chemistry club

I know Yale, MIT and the top 10 universities are out of reach, but would it be possible for me to get into a top 30 university?
